When brands are way too good at branding fro their own good, a part of me dies inside because I know that I will never be as good as said brand. Uniformity in messaging, layout, look & feel, and anything that greets the consumer’s eye is of the utmost importance if a brand is to make a lasting impact in this game. Unless you’re established and can throw shit at the wall and go, “Fuck it. Whatever works. We’re huge and we don’t care. Let’s give our social media team another handjob.”
BUT with the clutter and noise and overall saturation of the product world, you have to work, bitch. (Wanna hot body? Wanna bikini body?) And from what I have seen in person and online, Wonderland Sunglasses has done, and continues to do just that. Their branding is crisp and clean and it makes me want to stab myself because I love it so much. I first spotted the brand at Aloha Sunday and can attest to the sheer badassery of these spectacles.
