Gotta love Colorado weather. We hit -20′s in January and high 60′s in February. We’re evening back out now in the 40′s, but it’ll dip and spike plenty more times before the warm Summer nights hit. This weekend is one of the dips, as we’re supposed to see a bit of snow overnight. It makes the Pendleton gloves I copped less absurd (related post). Anyway, the medium-weight of the Rugby Ralph Lauren chinos and Gap chambray paired with an H&M sweater seems to be the perfect ensemble before the impending flakes from Heaven. Sure, my ankles are a bit cold, but like I said, I take more solace in pissing off the guy at work who abhors me not wearing socks… So, I’m sticking to my guns.

“The future has been terrifying me recently.  I am one of those people that has to have an exact plan as to what is happening.  I was the only one in my classes who was excited to get a syllabus.
But with my birthday coming up I have been thinking about the next year; having a baby, wife on maternity leave, child care, going back to school.  There are a lot of potential pitfalls looming and not much I can do to prevent them.  It can really weigh on you. But everyday can be great as well.  So I still get out of bed, slip on a tie, and make my way off into the world because you never know what will come. “Check it out – I’m a poseur again! Lots of explanation here. The chorizo and egg burrito is from a joint in Fort Collins that’s doing a fund raiser for the youth group at my church. I stopped by on my way in to help the cause a bit. I’m also one of the youth leaders so it’s kind of expected. We’re doing our best to fund a work trip to Costa Rica this Summer. I’ll be going back for dinner with my niece and her husband.

On to the furniture and such. The building where I work is brand new and trying to get LEED certification. As I understand it, there are several levels based on a point system. Everything is taken into consideration. Out in the parking lot the covered parking is composed of solar panels and the roof is also loaded with solar panels. Total output is in the 50 kW range. Also as I understand it, furniture is taken into consideration. In other words, recycling used furniture counts as points. Hence the wheeled chair and my desk was purchased from Craigslist.
